Here we are in July, and the flowers are blooming. The biggest show is the elderberries. I usually let these go until there are berries and then I make wine or juice.
In the field Ken has many flowers for the pollinators - native bees, honey bees, moths and butterflies, and even some bats. There is some tall chicory which we harvest first as greens and later as roots for winter teas.
Borage is a perennial in the field as well
And there are nettles and clover by the chicken yard
