Summer Flowers
This year we have gotten several inches of rain between July 15th and 31st. As a result, several flowers have kept ahead of the weeds. The first morning glory appeared this week.
And the Joe Pye weed is even taller than usual.
Daylilies are large this year.
With the cool spring the annuals were slower than usual. And with the rain in July it was challenging to get into the garden to weed.
The zinnias are tall and quite showy this season.
The short marigolds are cute and fragrant.
