Mushrooms!

Yesterday on the way to the field, our friend Evan walked into the woods and pointed out a chicken in the woods mushroom.  When we got back to the house, Ken got out the baby scale and the mushroom weighed seven pounds.  I brushed it, Ken sliced it and I loaded the dehydrator.

It took more than one batch in the dehydrator, but it is now in jars.

Last night Ken spotted two huge puff balls.  

He has cut the first one (no, it isn't a loaf of bread) and the first batch is now in the dehydrator.
